Back in 2013, I started using a VPN to conceal my movie downloads from the Pirate Bay. The VPN service accepted Bitcoin, so I made my first-ever Bitcoin transaction to pay for it. Unfortunately I never invested back then, but used Bitcoin only for payments. But still OG paying with Bitcoin in 2013. The link is pointing to the actual transaction I made.
